One of the most common questions we get asked is how soon we can start a renovation or repair project after the quote is accepted. In most cases, we can get started within a week or two, especially for straightforward jobs or those not dependent on specialist materials or trades.
What can affect the start date?
- Material availability – Some items like custom cabinetry, specialist fixtures, or bespoke joinery may have longer lead times.
- Job size – Larger renovations or complete home upgrades may take longer to schedule due to their complexity.
- Number of trades involved – If the job requires several different trades (plumbers, electricians, tilers etc), availability needs to align.
- Weather – For exterior work, rain or poor weather can delay the start or affect scheduling.
