If your kitchen is stuck in the 80s, your bathroom has seen better days, or your fence is more leaning tower than privacy screen, you’re in the right place. We specialise in renovations and repairs that make your house work better, not just look nicer in a photo.
Whether it’s a full kitchen revamp or just replacing those cupboard doors that have been hanging off for too long, we can help. We also do bathroom upgrades; the kind that make it easier to get in the shower without stepping over a cracked old tub. Simple, smart fixes which improve your daily life.
Outdoor work? Yep, we do that too
Decks and fences are often forgotten until they become a safety hazard (or the dog finds a new escape route). We can build new ones or bring your existing ones up to scratch. If you want something that’s going to last longer than the next nor’wester, we’ll build it properly from the start.
Insurance repairs and maintenance
Had an unexpected leak? Or maybe a small fire that left the laundry looking worse for wear? We’re well-versed in insurance repair work. Even if the insurer gives you a payout (cash settlement), you can contract us to manage the repair. We can still get the job done to a high standard.
And we don’t mind the little stuff. Fixing a sticking door, replacing rotten weatherboards, patching up after a plumber’s been through – it’s all part of the service.
What we don’t do
We’re not architects, designers, or interior stylists. We’re practical builders who get the job done. If you need plans drawn up or design advice, we’ve got some great contacts we can refer you to. But if you want someone to roll up with tools and make things better, that’s us.
In and around Christchurch
Most of our work is local – in Christchurch and the surrounding areas. We know the quirks of the houses here, from the post-quake rebuilds to the good old state homes. That local knowledge means we get on with it, without needing a big song and dance.
