If you’re planning a renovation, you may wonder what happens after you accept the quote. Do we show up one day with hammers and hope for the best? Not quite. There’s a solid process that helps keep everything on track and avoids surprises.
Step 1: Accepting the Quote
Once you’ve accepted the quote (no confetti cannons involved, sadly), we move straight into what we call the “Next Steps” stage. This includes a concise list for you outlining any remaining finishes, fixtures, or fit-out details we still require from you. If you’ve already decided on tapware, tiles, and towel rails during the quoting process, great. If not, now’s the time.
Step 2: Sorting Your Selections
The sooner we know what’s going where, the sooner we can lock in the start date. The availability of items like benchtops, vanities, or tiles will influence when we can begin – there’s no point in starting demolition if your fittings are still on a boat somewhere near Singapore.
Step 3: Building Your Timeline
Once we’ve got your selections sorted and delivery timeframes confirmed, we’ll prepare a full project schedule. This includes when we’ll start, who’s doing what and when (including our trusted subcontractors), and when we expect to finish. We’ll also include buffer time for the unexpected – because if there’s one thing renovations love, it’s surprises.
Step 4: Signing the Contract
Once the dates and details are confirmed, we’ll finalise the paperwork. This includes signing the contract, and making sure everyone’s clear on what’s happening. From that point, your renovation project is officially underway.
Step 5: Work Begins – And Communication Keeps Flowing
When work begins, we maintain regular contact so you’re never left wondering. Whether it’s a quick text about delivery updates or a full walk-through on-site, you’ll always know what’s next.
And Then?
Eventually, the sawdust settles, the paint dries, and you’ve got a shiny new kitchen, bathroom, or house to enjoy. We’ll do a final walkthrough, tie up any loose ends, and then hand it back to you with the job done correctly – no disappearing acts or half-finished promises.
